What we are building.
Enclave IDEAS does not have a single product category. The current catalog includes a bridge-watchstanding simulator, two focused Rules of the Road training tools, and a daily Bible reading app. Each project has its own audience and purpose, so this page keeps the emphasis on what each one actually does.
Watchstander: Surface Warfare Officer Training Simulator
Watchstander is a realistic bridge and COLREGs simulator built to make watchstanding practice available without a ship, a full bridge team, or access to a large simulator facility.
The Early Access build includes Free Roam, an initial Bridge Watch mode, CO trust mechanics, Rule of 30 expectations, a functional RADAR/NAV display, and Rules of the Road exams. The simulator is designed around the ordinary work of a watch: tracking contacts, evaluating collision risk, issuing helm and engine orders, maintaining situational awareness, and making safe navigation decisions.
Current development is focused on broader watchstanding scenarios, deeper Bridge Watch and career systems, additional Rules of the Road training, improvements to radar and navigation realism, better AI vessel behavior, and continued UI and visual polish.
Watchstander: CORTA
CORTA is the Android training companion for people studying COLREGS and maritime Rules of the Road. It combines conventional exam practice with a simulator scenario so users can move from recognizing the correct answer to applying it in an encounter.
The app includes randomized questions, selectable test lengths, answer review, score and training history in the SWO Log, a bundled Navigation Rules handbook, Watchstander Standing Orders, and a current Rule 14 head-on scenario. That scenario uses ship controls, radar, and navigation displays to evaluate how the user recognizes and resolves the developing situation.
CORTA is intended for naval and Coast Guard watchstanders, officer candidates, midshipmen, maritime academy students, merchant mariners, boating students, instructors, and others preparing for Rules of the Road examinations. It is an independent training aid and does not replace official publications, formal instruction, licensing requirements, or professional judgment.
Watchstander: COLREGS / Rules of the Road Training Administrator
The desktop Training Administrator is a standalone Rules of the Road study tool for users who want the testing side of Watchstander without the bridge simulation layer.
The Steam listing describes randomized multiple-choice quizzes, rolling average and high-score tracking, clear pass/fail feedback, a fast minimalist interface, and offline operation. It is intended for officer candidates, midshipmen, maritime students, instructors, and self-study on ordinary Windows laptops.
The title is currently listed on Steam with a planned January 2027 release. The Early Access plan is to continue expanding the question bank, improve scoring and analytics, add more testing options, and refine the interface based on user feedback.
Daily Scripture
Daily Scripture is a simple daily Bible reading guide for Christians who want a repeatable rhythm of Scripture, Psalms, prayer, and historic Christian confession.
Each day can include Psalms, optional Proverbs, an Old Testament reading, and a New Testament reading. Users can choose 30-, 60-, or 150-day Psalm cycles, follow sequential Old and New Testament readings, open passages through supported ESV, WEB, and KJV providers, and add prayer or creed options that fit their own practice.
The app also tracks reading completion, daily streaks, unfinished readings, and missed days. Progress and preferences remain on the device, and an account is not required to begin.
