A daily reading rhythm

Each day is organized around a focused set of readings: Psalms, optional Proverbs, an Old Testament reading, and a New Testament reading. Users can choose among 30-, 60-, and 150-day Psalm cycles and continue sequentially through the Old and New Testaments instead of having to manage a separate reading plan outside the app.

Reading progress remains organized from day to day, including partially completed readings and missed days. A daily reading streak shows consistency over time, and completion tracking covers both reading and prayer items.

Translations, prayer, and creeds

Daily Scripture can open passages through supported providers for the ESV, WEB, and KJV, allowing the app to organize the reading schedule without locking the user into a single translation.

Prayer and confession options can include the Lord’s Prayer, opening Psalms, the Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, and optional Reformed Baptist affirmations. These elements are configurable so the daily experience can reflect the user’s existing practice rather than forcing one devotional format on everyone.

Local by default

Progress and preferences remain on the device, and no account is required to begin. The app includes both light and dark themes and is designed to keep the daily routine straightforward: open the app, see what is assigned for the day, complete the readings and prayer options you use, and return the next day.

The September 2026 release added the daily reading streak, refreshed the interface and branding, and included smaller fixes and compatibility improvements.
